RULES OF OPERATION OF THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY OFFICE IN THE PERIOD FROM 22 OCTOBER 2020 TO 3 NOVEMBER 2020

In connection with Resolution of the Government of the Czech Republic No. 1080/2020 on the adoption of a crisis measure, from 22 October 2020 to 3 November 2020, these rules of operation of the Industrial Property Office are being introduced:

In all cases where possible, the written, electronic or telephone contact of clients with IPO-CZ employees is preferred by:

Office hours are limited to Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9 am until 2 pm.

The possibility of personal submission (filing office) and payment of administrative fees (cash desk) is maintained on working days from 9 am to 2 pm.

During a personal visit, it is necessary to respect the ban on moving and staying in the public areas of the Office without respiratory protective equipment (nose, mouth), such as a respirator, mask, scarf or other means that prevent the spread of droplets and use disinfectants.

The Office remains in operation for all administrative work within its competence. Databases of industrial property rights (patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks) are continuously updated. All important information intended for the public is available on the website www.upv.cz.
